The short version of the deal.

Roll is a small iOS app made by one person. These terms cover what you can do with it, what we won't do to you, and the few things we can't promise.
Your license
When you download Roll from the App Store, you get a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use it on Apple devices you own. You can take as many photos as you like and use them however you want — they're yours.
The Pro upgrade
Roll has an optional one-time Pro purchase that unlocks customization and re-roll. It is a single payment processed by Apple's App Store. Apple's refund policy applies; see reportaproblem.apple.com if you want to request a refund. We don't process payments ourselves and can't issue refunds directly.
The Pro entitlement is verified via RevenueCat. If you reinstall the app or set up a new device with the same Apple ID, your purchase will restore.
What you can't do with Roll
- Don't reverse engineer, decompile, or repackage the app.
- Don't use it for anything illegal where you live.
- Don't use it to photograph people without their consent in places where that matters.
What we can't promise
Roll is provided as-is. We do our best to make it work well, but software has bugs. We can't guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect accuracy, or that the app will run on every device forever. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we're not liable for lost data, lost photos, or other consequential damages from using Roll.
Photos in Roll live only on your phone. If you delete the app, they go with it. Back up the ones you care about by saving them to your iOS Photos library from the share button.
Changes to the app
We may add features, change existing ones, or retire something that isn't working. We'll try not to break things you rely on. Major changes will be called out in App Store release notes.
Changes to these terms
If we update these terms, we'll change the date at the top. We'll keep the language plain and the spirit the same.
